Privacy Policy
How we use the details you send us, in plain English.
Who we are
PH Tree Services & Landscaping is run by Peter Hadfield and is responsible for the personal details you share with us through this website. You can contact us at phtreeservicesandlandscaping@gmail.com or on 07760 141338.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, phone number and postcode, plus anything else you choose to give us: your email address, the service you need, details about the job and any photos you upload.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, give you a quote and carry out the work. Our legal basis is your consent (you tick the box on the form) and, once you book work, taking steps to enter into a contract with you.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is emailed to us (sent through the email service Resend) and may also go to our customer management system (HighLevel) so we can follow it up. The website is hosted by Vercel, and any photos you upload are stored there too. We don't sell your details or share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and measuring our adverts
The website works without any optional cookies. If you choose Accept on the cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics to see how people use the site, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure our adverts. When you send an enquiry after accepting, we tell Meta that an enquiry was made, using scrambled (hashed) contact details so it can match it to our adverts. If you choose Reject, none of this happens. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
Some pages show a Google Map of the area we cover. The map is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies when it loads.
How long we keep it
If you go ahead with work, we keep your details for as long as we need them for the job and our records (usually up to six years, for tax and accounting). If you don't go ahead, we delete your enquiry within 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you at any time by contacting us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
